Port Royal Rd Signal Timing

You may remember, that a little over a year ago Spring Hill completed a traffic signal synchronization project along Highway 31. Port Royal Road is certainly a congested corridor, and the much needed and long awaited Port Royal / Saturn Parkway signals have further increased the need for all signals along Port Royal to communicate and work in sync as well.
Monday night, the BOMA approved a contract for Brentwood based Corradino Group to develop and implement optimization to the signals along Port Royal.
The project is expected to take about 10 weeks to complete. Additional time may be required if upgrades or changes to the signal equipment are needed beyond programming.
Cadillac Lyriq
Last week, General Motors relieved their first all electric SUV – dubbed the Cadillac Lyriq. GM’s Spring Hill manufacturing plant is it’s largest in North America, and already produces two Cadillac SUVs.
To be clear, no manufacturing location has been announced, and speculation that the vehicle will be built in Spring Hill is just that…speculation. But there are certainly plenty of signs that could be pointing towards Spring Hill. If GM does indeed decide to manufacture here, expect a massive capital investment into Spring Hill and a significant number of new jobs.
Just over 30 years ago, the first Saturn came off the assembly line – an electric vehicle would be an excellent start to the next 30 years.
2021 Election Changes
Spring Hill BOMA continues to put effort into increasing voter turnout for the April 2021 Mayor and Alderman election. Right now, Spring Hill is looking at expanded polling locations, expanded early voting hours, and voter awareness campaigns.
Spring Hill elections are under the Maury County Election Commission, so any changes will have to be approved by the Election Commission as well. We hope to have the work completed by the end of the calendar year. The Election Commission has now also made it easier than ever to review candidate’s financial disclosures, as all information is now posted on-line.
If you’re interested in being a candidate….petitions will become available in October of this year.
