Duplex Widening
It’s going to happen. Really.

TDOT has hired Eutaw Construction to widen Duplex Rd. Construction is scheduled to begin this calendar year.
Eutaw will be holding a public pre-construction meeting some time in the next few weeks to answer questions related to the project and construction.

In the meantime; you can view an overview of the project here, or learn more about some of Eutaw’s other projects here.

More TDOT News
Spring Hill is completing a few minor updates to our Interchange Justification Request in coordination with TDOT. The request will be submitted to the Federal Highway Administration, with a response expected in January or February.

TDOT is schedule to award a design/build contract on November 17th, with a construction start date of December 2017 for the extension of Saturn Parkway and widening of Beechcroft Rd. You can see an overview of the project here. Both the City and my Facebook page will have future updates on this project.
