As part of the new Buckner Rd interchange, local funding will be required to complete the project.
The $25,000,000 Federal Build grant relieves a significant portion of the financial burden, but Spring Hill will still need to contribute local funds.
Spring Hill is considering a borrow to secure the local funds necessary to complete construction of the interchange. You can find proposed loan documents in this link.
In 2017, Spring Hill approved a first of it’s kind Special Assessment District as part of the Alexander Farm re-zone. The proceeds from this District will be collected as the property develops and can be used to satisfy any outstanding bonds.
