Marshall County has challenges related to broadband internet accessibility, diversifying its economic base, and job creation. The eastern portion of Williamson County residents desire to preserve their rural character and protect its existing open spaces and lifestyle. Spring Hill continues to see growth pressures and must make further progress in improving Highway 31 and completing the June Lake Blvd interchange with I-65.
It will take a dynamic problem solver to meet the needs of the entire district. I am confident that my conservative Tennessee values, integrity, common sense, and proven work ethic are what District 92 needs at this time.
“First elected to the Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Alderman in 2015, Matt Fitterer was re-elected in 2019 without opposition. Matt additionally serves as Chairman of the Spring Hill Budget and Finance Committee and sits on the Spring Hill Planning Commission. Matt previously was the Chairman of the City’s Transportation Advisory Committee.
During his time in the Spring Hill government Matt has passed over 40 pieces of legislation that he has personally authored, including restricting property taxes to key roadway and public safety projects and automatically reducing taxes once projects are completed. Additionally, Matt helped institute and later increase traffic impact fees on new development, created Spring Hill’s only Special Assessment District on new development, helped secure the $25M BUILD grant for the construction of the new June Lake interchange, was vocal on the sale of the Northfield building, lead efforts to create the Spring Hill Industrial Development Board, was instrumental in the modernization of the City’s subdivision regulations and zoning ordinance, and secured the donation and protection of historic Rippavilla.”
Mike Stalnaker founded Community Baptist Church and serves as the Lead Pastor. Mike preached his first message forty years ago this fall. He has an earned B.A. in Bible and a M.A. and Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. He has also founded the Leadership Luncheon that brings together business leaders, government officials, and pastors in Spring Hill, TN.
